Large scale solar power applications have not got off the ground for many reasons – the main reason being the prohibitive costs. However, people who have tried to adapt this technology on a small scale – say, only on their homes, have been met with tremendous success. The applicability and reliability of these small scale successes hold the secret for a better tomorrow where we will not depend any longer on the non-renewable sources of energy and save this planet from global warming for one.

Look around you – there are great lessons everywhere in the nature. The Nature is constantly teaching you something new. Are you able to see it? If yes, are you able to apply the use of it in today’s context? The solar power house has been proven to be an extremely viable project in small scale applications. Sometimes, a solar power unit would not provide enough energy for the whole house. In this case it would be possible to use an alternative form of energy to make up for the lack of power. It might not be possible to immediately draw an alternate plan – but it is possible to look into the opportunity.
The greatest advantage of having a solar power house is that is that you are consistently using a form of energy that is friendly to the environment. As well as this there is another benefit and it’s the fact that solar power is a free form of energy and in the end you are going to save a lot of money on your power bill at the end of the month. Otherwise it also provides a brilliant way out from the upcoming global crisis of non-renewable sources of energy and their applications.
Since the solar power house has proved successful, this can be the first step on the path to our energy self-sufficiency.
