Generous grants are offered to help cover start up costs and federal tax credits help lower costs for every year a home remains solar. In addition to using for the home itself, most local power companies will buy extra for use on the power grid, making a private home into a commercial solar power plant.
How It Works
Although the ability to generate power from sunlight has been around awhile, most areas can’t generate enough power to make the investment in the necessary materials worthwhile.
